A framework for quantifying the effects of transcranial magnetic stimulation on motor recovery from hemiparesis: corticomuscular network

Published in Journal of Neural Engineering, 2022

This paper formalizes brain-body coordination in the sensorimotor system and introduces the corticomuscular network as a systems-level framework for relating motor recovery, electrophysiology, and the effects of transcranial magnetic stimulation. It provides a quantitative basis for thinking about individualized neuromodulation in stroke rehabilitation.
